Oscar Penghargaan Bergengsi Insan Film Dunia

Puncak penganugerahan Piala Oscar yang di diselenggarakan di Dolby Theater, Los Angeles, California, AS, menjadi sebuah acara bergengsi yang dinantikan para penggemar film dunia. Penganugerahan Academy Awards yang ke-88 ini dipandu oleh oleh komedia Chris Rock pada Senin pagi, 29 Februari WIB.

Mad Max: Fury Road memborong setidaknya enam Piala Oscar, termasuk kategori Best Sound Editing dan Best Costume Design. Sementara Leonardo DiCaprio akhirnya membawa pulang Piala Oscar untuk pertama kalinya sebagai Best Leading Actor untuk perannya sebagai Hugh Glass dalam film The Revenant.
